MANDREL BENDING
We are one of the few Queensland based exhaust businesses that have invested in C.N.C mandrel bending machines capable of bending pipe without restricting the diameter. When an exhaust or downpipe is manufactured with mandrel bends the steel is allowed to stretch on the outside of the bend and compress on the inside of the bend maintaining the nominal pipe diameter. A mandrel bent, high performance exhaust provides a noticeable improvement in engine performance as well as better fuel economy.

Why doesn't everyone use mandrel bending when fabricating pipes?
It's simple... the cost of investing in mandrel bending machines. We believe that by making this investment we are able to supply customized and high performance exhausts that really do improve performance .
